Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson is a two-time Olivier Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner, and she made her Broadway debut with Nick Payne's Constellations, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. The actress is most well-known for playing Alison Lockhart on the Showtime drama "The Affair," which won her an Golden Globe Award. The credits on her film include The Little Stranger, Dark River, I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House, Suite FranASSaise, Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger, and Anna Karenina. The latter two at the Donmar Warehouse she won Olivier Awards, Best Actress in Anna Christie, opposite Jude Law and Best Actress in A Streetcar Named Desire with Rachel Weisz. For Hedda gabler She was also nominated for the Best Actress Olivier Award nominee. Wilson was nominated to eight Emmy Awards for her role in "Luther," a BBC drama which received acclaim from critics. She received BAFTA as well as Golden Globe nominations for Best Lead Actress for"Jane Eyre," a BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." In 2007 her London performance debut was on stage in Maxim Gorky's Philistines. She also starred as Ingmar in Through a Glass Darkly at the Almeida Theatre.
