Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNN's award-winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent from Washington, DC covering activities in Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative occasions, including the negotiations for raising the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. She has also served as an assignment reporter covering general stories such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the important Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government s stimulus plan in 2009.
