Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from the shadows that were cast onto grass. A few months later she came up with a technique that didn't render the chosen object on canvas as an unflat image. The subject has been transformed into its own reproduction, and the surface takes its interpretation from the artist. This is especially effective when working with living things or items that are perishable like fruits and people. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the images of her work are preserved. Techniques of photography and painting are closely coordinated and result in a two-dimensional, flat space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain parts of the image such as the hair, or eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows the models to be part of their own self-created environment. This eliminates the distinctions between photography, painting, and installation.
