Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor in Law in New York Law School and was formerly an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She has a weekly appearance regularly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Wiehl is a Yakima native, who attended West Valley High School. She has a diploma from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literature Studies from the University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl is a former prosecutor of the US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." From 1995 to 2001, she was a tenured law professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
