Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding athletes. Biles was the very first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals during the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was born within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the following 11 years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top category of the competition. In less than two years, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant personality as well as the difficulty of her routines across the four events she competed in such as vaulting, uneven bars and the balance beam.
